The Daily Itinerary

All of the days for the cycling tour will follow this routine (except for the 2 rest days).

Climbing the Col d'Izoard from west, back from whence we came 9 days ago.

  • Breakfast at 7:00 or 7:30 depending on the hotel.
  • Start of the ride 9:00.
  • Depending on the length of the ride, we should arrive at the following hotel between 4 and 5 pm.
  • Lunch consists of food carried by the van.
  • Dinner is at 7:30 pm, either at the hotel restaurant or another restaurant.

Stage 7, Gap to Briancon, back again into the high mountains, and a view from up high of the lac (lake) de Serre-Poncon.

The two rest days, which are days 5 and 10 of the trip, you will follow your own itinerary and do what you want. Your lunch and dinner on these two days will be your own responsibility.
